FSM has outsourced their customer service to a company out of Florida. I tried to talk to them about renewing, and buying the new CD of the most recent 10 years and the Florida people had no idea what I was talking about. I was able to find the number for corporate because the Florida people just gave me a second # for their offices instead of the corporate # I asked for. I’m supposed to get a call from corporate on Monday, and I’m sure that they’ll be able to handle my concerns, but be aware when you call their customer service you are not talking to FSM, but a 3d party representative.

IMHO any company that “outsources” customer service speaks volumes about how they view the issue. Given my past experiences when I have attempted to get issues resolved most any change has a high probability of marked improvement.
I’ve been booted off FS forums almost completely for a couple of years. My profile makes no sense at all. The forum worked great for ten years plus. Recently a forum subscribed became active - the minute I tried to log on to the forum, I was dropped again. I will not be renewing my subscription. Finescale is not thriving. It’s bewildering that nobody at Kalmbach seems to care.
