FSM Aircraft ID Quiz #40 - CLOSED

Thanks Jim, though I may be needing a surgeon to remove it from someone’s posterior! Any doctors in the house?

Sander, go ahead and send your reply via email. You might be right… you might be wrong. But the greatest risk in life, sometimes, is not taking a risk… no matter how small…

Fade to Black…

Ok, it’s definitely the Fairchild YA-10 Warthog prototype; I’m working on a 1/72 version right now… [:D]

I am a surgery resident…perhaps I can help with the louisville slugger. BTW I got my expertise by staying at a holiday inn express last night.

Steve,

Just remember:

“There is no problem the the judicious (sp) application of a pound of C-4 won’t cure”

Why limit ourselves to one measly pound? [:-,]

Fade to Black…

Well, no risk for me anymore.
I gave up, and asked the aforementioned all-knowing lunatic (that’s what he calls himself, so I guess it isn’t an insult). Would be unappropriate to send an e-mail now, wouldn’t it? Sort of cheating. I checked it though, and he’s right.

At least GI-Joe gives me half a point:
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

Don’t worry, i’ll be back for quiz 41!!! Get me a real easy one. Something like a 747 or F16. Those I can dsituingish from one another…[:D]

And besides it’s the ROYAL Australian Air Force! So there!
Dai

LOL

I enjoy these quizzes as much as some of you do…

Fade to Black…

Wellllllllllllllllll, I am reasonably certain that it is not the CA-15, at least not the -3 model.
The CA-15-3 test is used to monitor response to treatment of invasive breast cancer and an oncofetal antigen, expressed by several carcinomas, with its value in predicting overall survival of two mucinous markers…" That doesn’t quite match.

eeeeerrrrr… no it don’t…

Fade to Black…

now steve we all know you sit at home and read the responses and laugh hysterically when you see all the wrong ones. the only reason you get angry about those who post their guesses is that they spoil the fun you have. you are demented man. no wonder you and i get along so well.

joe

I dont know what its called but email sent anyways.

Well, I am demented…

I just like to sit back and enjoy the banter that goes back and forth sometimes…

Fade to Black…

Darwin, I came across that breast cancer study on google…hahaha not exactly the same thing. It reminds me that I have to type in some sort of qualifier such as “aircraft” when searching for Fokkers lest I end up on some unintended website.

For once I know exactly what it is. But I have a new computer, clicked your e mail button & nothing happens!! Can I borrow that bat? hit any key? I’ll hit your keys!!
(Anyone a computer genius who knows whats wrong with this thing? an email would be good, ta)
Pete

albertsponson, you either have some type of add blocking or pop up blocking software that prevents the e-mail screen from coming. All you have to do is disable the program and it will work. I have to disable my Ad-watch program any time I want a pop up screen to be able to appear.

Many thanks John, I’ll have a play & see what I can find on this thing.
Pete
OK, so I’ve disabled the Norton autoprotect, That doesn’t work. It looks like I simply don’t have Javascript, Cos I did get an FSM popup for the diorama book.
I’ll have to ask the guy who built this window on the world, i’m just an aircraft tech, where’s my hammer?[:D]

e-mail sent.

I prefer a slightly different version of that quotation. There is no problem which cannot be cured with the suitable application of a sufficient quantity of high explosives." That way, you are not limited to “one measly pound” and there are some things with even more “bounce per ounce” than C-4. The old standby of get a bigger hammer also works most of the time.

Darwin, O.F. [alien]

use a block buster or a 1 kilo ton nuke to solve the problem
