Thanks to Blackwolf for letting me host one of these again. Looking for the correct variant designation on this one. There’s actually two possible answers, but (in my best Soup Nazi Voice) “no extra credit for you this time!”[}:)]

I’ve had some builds go terribly wrong and come out looking like this.

Actually this was my original Paper and Prototypes GB project a while back. Kludged from spare resin parts and legos. I’m getting better at Photoshop… looks authentic doesn’t it![:D]

Hit the ground and broke into about 12 pieces after this shot though. Funny these same parts reconfigured with a little work and paint will make a pretty good Optimus Prime.[:D]

That has to be one of the ugliest things that ever took to the air…I know who made it, but not the variant - but whoever did that to that plane deserves a slap.

Well this is a replacement quiz since the beans got spilled on the last one, not to get too defensive. [:D] At the same time, I thought having a less difficult quiz could encourage paricipation (and maybe confidence), before Blackwolf came back with another one of his 3-4 reply toughies that humbly, make us realize just how much there is to learn in this arena.[:D]

That, and I’ve been dying to post this goofy plane for sometime anyway![:p]

There are hundreds of one off aircraft out there that not 1% of the people would recognize. Posting one of those does discourage participaiton from most folks. I have always wondered how you do an internet search for the identity of a plane when you have absolutely nothing to start with. What do you tell the computer to look for?

The aircraft is the single tandem wing Lysander S/N K6127. Airmodel produced a conversion kit for this model in 1/72nd using the Frog Lysander as the basis. I am currently making building this conversion.
