I’m totally mindboggled too. Have gotten used to striking out on the latest quizzes, so I’m not sure what’s different on this one, but it seems to agree with me[:D][:D][swg]
That one was not all that hard. I remember seeing one many years ago in the UK. It had come over for an air show.
I have a rather large book which contains (just about) all of the worlds military aircraft from pre WW1 to the modern times and there it was with all its details.

BTW, to the fella who made the re-guess, you were okay to begin with!
I’ll accept either the designation, or the name or both. But the ‘½’ is on account of someone giving the right name with the wrong designation. The designation given was that of a totally different aircraft, although I suspect it may have been a typo…
Alrighty, thought yous-guyz could use a fairly easy one after the Gull, although I didn’t know it would be this easy! [;)] (No slight to you, Shrikes!)
We had a total of 10 replies with 9½ being correct. I’ll list all 10, however, as I suspect the one ‘half-wrong’ answer may have been a typo…

The answer:
Fokker S-14 Machtrainer
(The ‘half-wrong’ reply was S-13 Machtrainer. The S-13 was a different aircraft but, as I said, this may have been a typo so I’m letting it go. But just this once! LOL)
This was the Netherlands’ one and only indigenous jet trainer to see service, albeit in very small numbers. There’s a few pages out there with rather limited info on this jet, just do a search on Fokker S-14 Machtrainer, Machtrainer or some such variations.
I’ll post the next quiz later tonight or perhaps tomorrow (Tuesday).
ACK! I knew something was wrong! I came across a page listing serial numbers of all the Netherlands Airforce aircraft, and i bypassed it because i confused it with one of Fokker’s WWI creations!! [banghead]
