This aircraft was built by a manufacturer which also produced a very well-known training aircraft. Only one of these birds was built, although it did appear in two configurations.
Finally, see what one little clue and the right website can accomplish.
I thought your clue was for a different company and found one that was close but not quite.
I hate to ruin my perfect record, but I’m having a tough time with this one. I’ve been getting real close, identifying little details associated with certain aircraft manufacturers, but close only counts in horse shoes, hand grenades, and nuclear warfare.
Somebody made a guess and had the right manufacturer, but did not give any sort of designation, hence the 3½ correct replies. I won’t give full credit at the end of the quiz unless you’ve got it 100%. You’re on the right track, just dig a bit further…
Well what fun would they be if they were too easy? I’d much rather them be a bit too much on the tough side than the other way around. I say don’t change anything at all. I love the quizzes.
Ill be the first to admit I havent the first clue what that thing is up top short of… em lemme guess… is it an airplane? I will say thanks though for sharing an awsome pic of the Falcon. Im guessing it was done up like that for a tiger meet. What country did that one?
'Twas a Falcon from 31 ‘Tiger’ Squadron, Belgian AF. That scheme was from the '98 Meet at Lechfeld. It’s probably my personal fave, although I love all the Tigermeet stuff. If you wanna see some more of this bird (as well as other 31 Sqn. Aircraft), go HERE.
You can also find some better quality shots at Airliners.net. There’s several other sites that feature this bird as well…
