Looks sharp! It’s nice to see 1:72 models with extensive detail.

Nice work Frosty

Looking good Frosty. Keep us posted.

Nice work, looking forward to the finished product.

Can’t wait to see that sweet li’l P51 finished! A light wash & drybrush treatment would have brought out a lot of the interior detail (just a friendly suggestion, to make a good model even better). I look forward to enjoying more of your work.
Best Wishes, Ray Meinberg

Frosty,

One tip I’ve read with the Roden 1/72 Fokkers is to cut the lower wing in half, fit it to the fuselage, and fill the resulting gap.

Good luck!

Keep 'em coming frosty.

You’re becoming quite a factory ! I appreciate the in-process pics. Lookin great so far.

Chris

Nicely done as always frosty…looking forward to more!

My goodness Frosty, those are really gonna be something!! [:)] Looks like a great start, and will look forward to seeing them come together, thanks!

Take care,
Frank

thanx 4 all the kind comments, folks !
here r the latest pix of the D.VII:

lozenge decals applied 2 lower wing

more details added 2 'pit

'pit closeup

still haven’t decided on the final scheme, but there will b lozenge camo
on the wings, at least if it decides 2 stay on there…[:D]

Excellent Job on that Frosty… keep it up

Lufbery:
yep… the section of the lower wing that holds up the pit floor
is too narrow 2 fit into the gap in the fuselage, so
i razor sawed it in half & added a bit of sheet styrene in the middle.
i had already had the same problem w/ the W.29, so i was ready this time…
but thanx 4 the advice, i always appreciate it ! [:D]

Great work as always frosty! You always leave me amazed at your excellent attention to detail. Keep up the great work!

Frosty,

Judging from your photos, you don’t need much advice. [;)]

Keep us posted on the builds. That plane (actually the early Albatros version) is on my to-build pile. I’ve got a PE set for it that includes the framework. It should be intersting – especially since I’ve never used PE before!

Regards,

Looking good Frosty! I especially like the engine you built for the D.VII, very nicely done.
Keep up the good work.

Regards,

Darren.
