Looking real good Frosty. Very nice builds. Glad you were able to put the Bunnie decals to good use [tup].

Way to go Frosty !!! Good job ! Especially on the P-51D ( the Red Tail) !

Oh, by the way, there’s a message for you on my post.

Very Nice job Frosty,
I like 'em both !

I love seeing some of the more unique WWI planes that have been poping up here once in a while. The Hansa is really pretty. Is it a Roden kit ? What did you think of it ?

Chris

nice work frosty!![tup]

Sweet!

Great job frosty!! Your shadowbox project is looking great so far!!

A couple of nice builds you have there! Keep up the good work.

Mark

Good one, Frosty -
Thanks for posting the pics.

Stunning indeed, especially the W.29’s topside and the spinning prop! Cool!! [:)]

Thanks,
Frank

hey, folks !
thanx 2 u all 4 checking out my work & 4 ur kind comments !
the p-51d was actually started 4 the Mustang Ranch GB, but i didn’t
meet the deadline…
rjkplasticmod, thanx again, without ur help the p-51 would still
b waiting 4 its markings !

charlotte, the W.29 lozenge camo comes from the kit, 2 large ones
4 the wings, one 4 the fuselage behind the observer/gunner & one 4 the
horizontal tailplane ( u get 2 different tailplanes w/ the kit, but the decal only
fits one of them ), the lozenge colors r a bit suspect & they r not as durable as
one mite wish, even after being coated w/ future… if i had 2 do it again, i would
probably order aftermarket naval lozenge decals, but i didn’t want 2 wait…[xx(]
in the end, i think it looks ok, tho’…

vance, thanx 4 ur comments & 4 permission 2 use the p-40 pix !
hey, want 2 build another Tuskegee Airmen a/c w/ us in the TAGB ?

Bossman, this is apparently an Eastern Express rebox of a TOKO kit,
at least the sprues r marked TOKO… i enjoyed building it, but u need 2 b
aware that some work needs doing 2 get everything fitted properly.
the engine block kind of rattles around in the cowling, i made chocks out of
styrene tube 2 hold it in position…
there r no locating pins on the fuselage halves, so i added little sheet styrene tabs here & there 2 help hold the seams together…
the one piece wing/cockpit floor assembly didn’t fit the gap in the fuselage floor,
i razor sawed one wing off & added shims of sheet styrene…
there is no glazing provided 4 the pilot’s windscreen, i made my own from a piece of clear acetate (blister packaging material)…
& of course, u have 2 rig it urself, but 4 a wwi a/c, the W.29 had relatively
few wires ( 2 control wires 4 each aileron, 2 4 the rudder & 2 bracing wires
in an x pattern between the floats, that’s it !)…

thanx again 2 u all 4 checking out my work !

hey, thanx !!!
