frosty's braille scale progress report

before anyone starts getting the wrong idea, this batch of models is the result of about 3 months of work. i try to complete one model each week…sometimes i even succeed !
i’m begging for a digital camera (b-day and x-mas coming up, so there’s hope !) so i can share my work with u good people, but i must be truthful and say that my stuff is still kind of crude compared to what i see here. but u have to start somewhere !

P.S. started Hasegawa Churchill Mk. i this weekend (very cool kit !) ; i was going to work on the pink Panther but the paint on that one was still a bit wet, so…

Don’t think your stuff won’t measure up Frosty, I say the same thing about mine and when I post them I get alot of constructive feedback and good comments, so I am sure you will be surprized at the great comments you will get from this fine forum.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing the Pink Panther. Patton’s Patton is coming along. Ordered Willie and George (no biggie that you thought they were Verlinden kiddo) and am looking forward to getting them. Maybe by then I’ll be done with the paint job on the tank and can concentrate on them.
Churchills are awsome! A friend of mine also has a wife into armor and she has a bit of a problem walking, not much, just a bit. Anyhoo, he calls the Churchill the only handicapped accessible tank… due to the side doors being so nice and low to the ground! What a goof.

Ron.

Look at how many kits she has worked on already. I haven’t even finished my M4A3 105. And it has been more than a month.

Good work, Frosty.

DT:
ur M4A3 probably has as many parts in trax alone as one of my whole kits in 1/72 or 1/76… individual linx ? on the other hand, i probably spend half my time down on the floor looking for teeny tiny lost parts which have “tweezerpulted” to the far reaches of the room, and that’ll really eat up ur modeling time ! [;)]
i installed a new shelf over the dresser in my room last saturday to hold my ever-growing (but thankfully small-scale!)armor collection…

Ron:
they really r pretty cool, and so unlike everything else i’ve built so far… i’m thinking canadian unit at dieppe for this model, but not sure yet. no rush to figure it out, tho’… i’e got plenty of other stuff to work on ! [:)]

miller41:
thx for the encouraging words ! i know that just about all the comments i’ve seen on this site have been constructive and helpful and i’m sure i will learn a lot by getting my models seen by people who r much more experienced than myself. looking forward to sharing my work with u all in the (hopefully near)
future !

I don’t know, Frosty. With the number of kits you’re cranking out, I think you’re rapidly becoming the most experienced modeler out here.

Bill

bill:
that’s so not true !!!
if there is anything rite with my modeling, it’s entirely due to what i’m learning here. if there’s anything wrong with it, i’ll take full responsibility for that part, no problem !
but thanx nonetheless!

btw, Frosty, it’s nice to see you on and posting. I know you’re busy with school and such, but it’s good to hear from you.
