format questions

Maybe I shouldn’t post this here, but I don’t know where else to put it. First, how do you get pics at the bottom of your replies and stuff. (see example) Second, what are those grey square picture thingies, there are two I think, one is with tank tracks and a prop, the other is tank tracks, impact crator, and the shadow of an A-10. How do you get/ earn them, what do they meen? sorry for the newb questions, but i just gotta know. Thanks

The grey pics you refer to are a little friendly banter between us guys that build armor and the aircraft guys. Kinda like a campaign medal. As for pics on the posts just get the URL for the picture you want on your post and place it between these brackets

as far as the pics, you must first have your pic that you want on the web. then you must go to your update profile page. go to sig box. type in [img ] the address of the pic you want { /img ] this whole thing must have no spaces between [ and ]. then your pic should appear in the sig box on the preview. as for the badges the armor tracks and the bomb crator. these are not assigned, what is happening is the armor forum has adopted the tank track and prop badge to show that they build armor. the a/c forum is considering the impact crator for a similar purpose. the way i put it in my sig was to right click save as whatever name you want, upload to the web, and then the same as a pic. hope this helps.

Scubaboy,

The badge showing a propeller being runover by tank tracks is to commemorate the time that the armor forum overtook the A/C forum in total number of posts. The link to the picture file is as follows: Just insert it between the [ img ] and [ /img ] signs without the spaces between the brackets and the img or /img texts.

The second badge (the one I am using) indicates a crashed A-10 with the shadow of another A-10 over tank tracks. It is just for fun. The link to the picture file is:

You may use them if you want to. I made them myself so no copyright issues to worry about.

Back off Dwight!!! Scubaboy is ours!!! LOL [:P][:P][:P][:P][:D][:D][:D]

Don’t listen to them scubaboy. Hear the call of the darkside…Listen to that little voice inside you…

He-he-he…

That little voice goes along with the little brain of a tank driver. [:D][;)][(-D]

Sorry Dwight, I couldn’t help myself brother.

Mike

think of it this way would you rather soar with eagles or be a treadhead. [:D]

had to add to the mix.

joe

What you say? Couldn’t hear you clearly.

The tank’s engine too loud…

[:D][:D][:D][:D]

They have brains?[wow] [;)]

Fade to Black…

Only hearts.[:)] We go to battle with the mission in our hearts not in airhead our head.[:D]

Thanks for all the help. I understand now. That is awsome that you made those yourself! Sorry a/c guys, the dark side has taken me over[}:)], starting with my M10 GMC for the Shermie group build. I promise I’ll visit though[;)]

Just enough for body functions to continue with an occasional grunt now and then. [:D]

Mike

Hey Heath,

He is down in your area bro. I think it’s time for a road trip to show this boy the light. [(-D][:-,]

Mike

Let’s set it up!!! LOL Unfortunately, I may not have the Attention span…especially if we pass a Hobby Shop on the way!!! LOL

What’s the problem boys? Lost another one? He-he-he. Maybe you need to try some dedicated SAR ops on this one.

…but be careful…don’t fly too low…he-he-he.

Naw, you have 'em and you can keep 'em. Besides, the more targets we have the more fun we’ll have. Afterall, happiness is a target-rich environment…

BTW, your propaganda works very well. But we flyboys like to rely on good, solid and reliable intel…

This is just like being at a club meeting!

Fade to Black…

Just like the intel at Kosovo, when you bombed the Chinese Embasy[:P][;)]. Oh, and while you’re on that little “raid” to my house (there are lots of hobby shops round here), watch hout for my Wirblewind in my back yard[:D][:D]

P.S. Grunt

scubaboy, sooner or later you will see the light and try your wings. this was only the first battle not the entire war. airsuperiority always overcomes.

Then we will have to tie him up and take him outside of Las Vegas to Nellis AFB.
We will tie him in a chair and make him watch the Red Flag exercises and the Thunderbirds until he is reprogrammed. [:D]
