This is my Tamiya Ford Mustang GT4. It is painted with Tamiya TS-4 German Grey with a Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clearcoat, wired, and decaled with kit decals and tire decals by Slixx.

I did a WIP on the Scale Auto Forum. I may start doing WIPs again on FSM.

This kit went together nicer than most other kits I have assembled. You could almost shake the box and a completed model will fall out!

Nice! I wonder if Tamiya will do the new mid engine Corvette next?

A friend of mine had lamented that the Big T had no love for American cars, but the Mustang and new GT40 indicates they have not forgotten us.

I don’t know what goes through the mind of Tamiya. It is possible that the Mustang GT4 was chosen because it is a racecar and not stock. Tamiya does seem to make mostly racecars. I have seen a couple of attempts at making the Mustang GT4 a stock looking car and they came out looking very nice!

I will consider doing a WIP here on FSM with my next new build.
