This is my Tamiya Ford Mustang GT4. It is painted with Tamiya TS-4 German Grey with a Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clearcoat, wired, and decaled with kit decals and tire decals by Slixx.

Certainly, has the look of a modern muscle car. Very nice [Y]
Well done![Y]
Nice work.
Wish you’d have done a WIP on this one.
NICEEEEE! I pre-ordered this kit. How did it go together? I was thinking doing this one next. You did a great job. The belly looks as good as the body my friend!
Thank you guys!
I did a WIP on the Scale Auto Forum. I may start doing WIPs again on FSM.
This kit went together nicer than most other kits I have assembled. You could almost shake the box and a completed model will fall out!
Nice.
Ahah! I get that. I hope you do. [Y]
Very nice, and super cool!!

Wow! You did a great job, and your model looks amazing.
Build thread is here - hope you don’t mind Mike

Thank you, that was a good read.
And thanks, Mike.
Nice! I wonder if Tamiya will do the new mid engine Corvette next?
A friend of mine had lamented that the Big T had no love for American cars, but the Mustang and new GT40 indicates they have not forgotten us.
Nicely done!
I was looking at it as well…I’ll check out that thread…
I am curious to know why you chose some of the undercarriage to remain white?
Thank you guys!
I don’t know what goes through the mind of Tamiya. It is possible that the Mustang GT4 was chosen because it is a racecar and not stock. Tamiya does seem to make mostly racecars. I have seen a couple of attempts at making the Mustang GT4 a stock looking car and they came out looking very nice!
I will consider doing a WIP here on FSM with my next new build.
Very nicely done. Does anyone know of a kit of the 2017 Mustang GT350?
None that I’m aware of.
Nice build. Maybe you can get some of your fellow SAM members to post on this board. It needs a shot in the arm.
Thanks JohnnyK! Asking is one thing. Actually getting them to come here is another and I can’t do it alone especially if my words fall on deaf ears…
