Forces of Valor Armor

Opinions anybody? Not to compare with the efforts of modeling, just from a new collectible perspective.

Toys. Appear to be aimed at the collectors market, much like the series of die cast cars that have been on the market for the last number of years.
They’ll probably sell to those poor folk who can’t build a model. LOL

I WILL be collecting them and I BUILD models, AND very well THANK YOU!!![:p]

And build you do Harry and very well too. Which makes me ask the question … why would you collect these when you do a much better job? Just curious.

does anyone have any links for them?

I wouldn’t mind owning one. [:I][8)]

For instance, looking at the picture of the M2A2 Bradley, that’s pretty nice. [:)]

But honestly…working treads, turret, gun…it may sound silly to some, but that would be so cool. I had matchbox cars when I was kid and I loved them. I’ll admit it – at age 30 I’ve picked up my son’s Hot Wheels cars and sent them rolling across the table a couple of times. This would be like matchbox cars for grownups. They’re not toys, they’re “collectibles”. By tacking on the word “collectible” to it, it’s okay for me as an adult to purchase one of these. [;)]

Oh, who are you trying to kid? We dont give up toys. We just buy bigger, more expensive ones.

Thats why I like rubber tracks. I can role them.

Dude! Those things are WAY cool.

Thanks ShermanFreak.

I want the HMMWV, M1, M2, M60 and the BlackHawk. :D:D:D

I purchased the M1 from Tom at Fetco Toys. Michtoy.com has some good deals as well. I build models too, but these days I just don’t have the time to do as many as I would like. Besides, there’s so much nice diecast out there these days, they are fun to collect. Dragon is coming out with some really nice 1/72 diecast armor as well.

Robert,
Sorry, I was being sarccastic earlier…
I just collected 1/32 scale diecast before I ever built a model and I guess its one of those “kid” things, I can’t play with the models if you get what I mean…[:p][;)]

That’s ok Harry. Like I said I am more or less just curious. I remember when the 1/32 Diecast cars really took off and it seemed like it hurt the sales of plastic models. Too many people got into “why build when I can buy” kinda mind set. But every one of these diecast vehicles whether it be cars of armour doesn’t hold a candle to the workmanship that modellers like you, like I, and like many of the modellers in these forums.

Nice Diecast a heck of a value…just $30. Many compare them to Minichamps quality.
