Dai:
If you have any more information on the company that will be releasing the 1:48 Wirraway I would dearly love to pick one up. It is very close to the NA-64 Yale that I had the pleasure of helping to restore for the Western Canada Aviation Museum in Winnipeg a few years ago. (No it is NOT a BT-13!)
Regards,
Bruce
Bruce,
Sorry about the delay in replying to you but i have been on our anual Rotary weekend away. Picnic races, POWcamp for Japanese, Wineries etc.
Great Mate!!
I will post a note on the forum when I find out more. For High Planes Models, corryongcec.net.au/~hiplanes, have two kits of the Wirraway in 1/72 war time and post war in resin, Injection plastic and metal for A$22 plus postage and packing.

Thanks Dai. Sounds like your weekend was a blast! We just finished celebrating the 20th anniversary of our local church this weekend. Pig roast, bonfire, all the trimmings, and we burned the mortgage five years early!
I would like to do the Yale in 1:48 to keep the same scale as my other models; that is why your post caught my eye. I was thinking about modifying a 1:48 Harvard, but even though many parts were the same on the prototypes, the two NA models are just too far apart for me to do it well. I also had the pleasure of corresponding with the Point Cook RAAF museum a few years ago while searching for parts for our restoration. That was the first I had heard of a Wirraway, and the boys at Point Cook were a pleasure to deal with, even though they couldn’t help us out.
I’ll look forward to your note.
Regards,
Bruce
