This gets weirder. Last night I was carefully gathering up all the parts to my Spit Vb, in the hopes that someday I would get my hands on a new front canopy and be able to complete the kit properly. I had everything packed carefully away and picked up the assembled fuselage and wings. For some unexplained reason, I turned them over - upside down - in my hand. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught something falling and looked down on my workbend and there it was - the missing piece of my canopy. Would you believe that little piece of plastic had stuck itself to my forearm hair, dislodged, and fell straight down into the tiny opening of the cockpit and was hiding there out of sight while I tore the study apart looking for it! It may not be the carpent monsters mates - maybe we should try looking in the most unlikely, unpredictable, least expected places that parts can go. I was just lucky that for some reason I turned my plane upside down or I would never have thought to look inside it for missing gear. Weird eh!
All’s well that ends well I suppose, but too bad you had to shear yourself like some flippin’ sheep first.
I think we need pictures. There’s a newcomer thread…[#welcome]
Take the hair you shaved off, sell it on ebay, then use the money to buy more models.
