Currently I am detailing a Tamiya tiger in normandy. Most pics I have seen have the tigers and most other vehicles covered with tree branches. Do you guys think that I should add some foliage to my tiger for realism, or would you leave it clean? Would you cover up the detail?
cover up the parts you mess up [:)]
At my Luchs I added some branches just for interesting effects.

You can add it only at the front armour!
Add some foliage , but don’t over do it . I have found some good " foliage " , at craft stores , artificial plants , and stuff .

in most of the old photos that ive seen of german tanks in normandy, they were covered in branches and stuff almost to the point where you couldnt recognize the tank. obviously you dont want to go that far but sure id add some foliage.
They are still using that technique to this day. I was training recently at Grafenwoehr and saw a group of German army jeeps. They looked like moving tree branches- you could not see any angles or lines of the vehicle at all.
ok then, so I’ll put some on but not over-do it. I know just what to do in my dio.
Thanks guys!
