Hi Guys,

This may seem like a stupid question(migrated here from the heli forum), but any help would be most welcome.

Is there by any chance a kit of this aircraft, 1/72 but will accept what is available.

Got talking to a relative of “Smithy” who flew the “Southern Cross” and landed myself with a build. I will never talk models in the pub again [:o)][banghead]

There was the old FROG kit of the Southern Cross. I don’t know if it is available anymore and I don’t know the quality of the kit. The moulds go back to the 60’s.

The oldFrog kit was terrible. Poor detail, ill-fitting parts, huge gaps and seams. It was, however, the only Fokker Trimotor in town. Hopefully one of the kitmakers may see fit to include it in their list of potential new civil aviation releases.
