new to the site and have been trying to find if a focke-wulf ta 152 model in 1/32 scale can be found. would appreciate an info. thanks for your help in advance. luftwaffefanatic
I think the only kit available of a Ta-152 in 1/32nd is the Combat models vacuform. Very basic and would take a lot of work and talent to make. I am pretty sure FSM had an article about converting the Revell FW-190 into a TA-152 but I’m not sure how long ago that was.
welcome to the forums. hope you find the kit your looking for.

Fanatic,
Welcome to the forums. I know there is a 1/48th scale ta but I have not been able to find a 1/32nd. Try this web site for tas (do a searsh for ta-52)
Richard
WELCOME!
No…They dont have a 32nd scale…It sucks huh…
But that Dragon 48th scale is a good one though
Welcome to the Forum [#welcome]. The 1/48 Dragon/DML kit is the best currently available. You might be able to convert the 1/32 Hasegawa 190-D9, but that’s beyond my pay grade. Course if you wait a while, Trumpeter might do one some day. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking.
trumpeter is your only hope now
try for 1/48 or something
I believe Jerry Rutman does one in 1/32nd scale. This is resin and it should be very complete and good,
thanks for all the help…special thanks to oakson and eagle334, found some good stuff…thanks again.

The Revell Germany boxing of the Hasegawa Fw.190 D-9 includes a Ta.152 tail. I think there’s a very good chance, therefore, that, in the not-too-distant future, either Hasegawa or Revell Germany will do a 1/32 Ta.152.
In the meantime, do go for that Dragon 1/48 kit. An excellent model, and, in the UK at least, recently re-released at only £11.99 (approx $21.60).
Chris.
Trumpeter is doing an online survey. You never know if enough people ask for it, they might make one. Here is the link. http://clubhyper.com/trumpeter_survey_2004.htm
And [#welcome] to the forums.
Bear in mind that if Trumpeter do decide to do one, on present form, it’ll be at least 3 times as expensive as a Hasegawa/ Revell AG one.[:(]
Chris.
i’m seriously looking at the jerry rutman ta 152 have never worked with resin models before ,do they use special glues ,or will plastic model glue work? painting is my other concern, does regular plastic model paint work or do you need something different, any special prep need before painting? any info would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

Regular glues for styrene will not work. Epoxy or CA are your choices. Resin must be very well cleaned before painting & a primer is needed. Regular Hobby paints will work just fine. When working with resin, remember the health risks & take precaution against breathing in all of the resin dust that gets created.
