I am interested in doing a FW-190D in 1/32 scale.
Can anyone recommend a good kit…and possibly some add-ons (engine compartment and such) ?

I think Hasegawa is the best game in town for a 1/32 Dora. There is an old Revell kit that can be found fairly easily but it is very much old school.
Pacific Coast Models makes a 1/32 Ta 152 short wing version.

and AFAIK there are no other kits (except that old kit from revell)
@ Satch: I have never built a Pacific Coast model, how are they compared to Hasegawa or Tamiya, quality wise? I really like the fact that, it has Resin & PE parts, included. Which makes the price seem a lot better.

It is a very good kit.Maybe not superdetailed, but in my opinion, with only aftermarket seatbelts and minor scrathes it is possible to built excellent miniature.

Old School is the best School, as they say, lol… It is kinda rivet-heavy… But I liked it…

True, the 1970s Revell has rivets, but the “rivets” are actually slightly raised circles and not the huge boiler plate rivets found on the old 1/32 Revell P-47 . [:(]
I tried bidding on one a few weeks ago, but it went up & over 100.00 rather quickly… Last time I built that kit, Roger Staubach had just been named MVP for Superbowl VI…
The Revell Fw-190D of the early 1970s is actually a pretty nice kit.
The tail needs to be trimmed to the correct cord and the engine cover needs to be altered from the earlier “ribbed” style found on the Ju-87- but otherwise it may be one of the best 1/32 Revell aircraft kits of that era.
