I just scored the std matchbox kit. Seems like a big, fun build, but I wonder what I’m missing by not getting the Platinum deluxe kit. I saved a boatload so I have a small budget or aftermkt P-E.
Does anyone know of a good affordable place to order the P-E or if there’s a similar P-E kit(s) that can accommodate most of the fittings and details of the Corvette? I’m not planning on making this a museum kit (I wish I were that good) so accuracy isn’t that vital. In fact I’m seriously considering cutting away the bottom third of the hull and making a waterline display in rough waters. Any advice or tips are welcome.
