Flea market find, 1:8 Revell HD Police Bike with missing instructions

Hi all !

This is my first post here and after browsing through a large number of older posts I must say that you build some awsome models! Now I did build my share of models when I was young(er) but havent done any building in the past 30 years or so but yesterday I stumbled upon an unbuilt and what seems to be complete Revell 1:8 kit of their Harley-Davidson Police Bike:

Well, complete besides a missing instruction booklet… I had a quick peek at the Revell web site and there is a page where you can download PDF’s with instructions for all sorts of their kit’s. But not this one, 7932, you could however “order” it online but the questions is does that functions actually “work” - will they dig out an old instruction, scan and send it via e-mail or?

Anyone here that has tested this? I tried it yesterday but I haven’t even received a confirmation yet…

Regards,

PS Paid around US$ 7 for the kit… seems like bargain…

Welcome [snWcm] aboard. Sorry that I can’t help you out with the instructions but you will probably get some sort of help from one of the members here. Some of the kit makers, specially Hasegawa will take quite a spell before getting back to you so patience is a virtue.

Welcome!!! Nice Duo Glide! I have it in 1/1 not police package… And in restoration…

I don’t know where you can find the instructions… Another idea, could be to ask some seller on ebay, if the are selling a open box kit, ask them to take pics of the instructions. I did once and worked for me.

Thanks for the welcome folks, and what o you know… Spent an hour more browsing old posts on this site when I stumbled upon a web site recommendations for a site with lot’s of kit instructions and found one for a similar Revell kit (the 7951, The Electra Glide).

That could come in handy
