I’m working on an old T34/76 Tamiya kit with vinyl treads. I don’t want to fork out the bucks for metal substitutions (rather buy another kit), besides, I’ve been happy with the vinyl ones in previous kits. They’ve been sitting so long that they won’t lay flat![|(] I’m considering tacking them down and using a blow dryer on them. If that’s doesn’t work I’m clueless what to try next…suggestions?
I’m assuming these are vinyl. Dip them in hot (not boiling) water and then hold them down flat until they cool.
Triarius,
Meant vinyl[oops]. Thanks for the tip[tup], I’ll give that a try.
