I have an F-14 that I want in a postion of taking off an carrior. I have lowering the front gears(no problem). I just have a question on how you put the flaps down…Do u cut them off some how and reglue it? PLEASE HELP. Thanks for your responces
03cobra, the rear ones are relatively easy. Just cut them off, shape the edge, paint the edge red because part of it is visible and glue them on. The forward slats are a little more tricky. You need to cut them from the wing, build up the slat bays, add the extension arms and then glue them back on. Pick up a copy of “F-14 in Detail and Scale”. Also, Hasegawa’s kits have this done for you! Hopr this helps!
