Hi Folks, Have been doing some work on the very nice Trumpeter 1/16 scale T-34/42 kit and have just been wondering if anybody out there has run across some information on just how the OT-34 flame thrower T-34 was set up inside. I’ve read in the Squadron “T-34 In Action” book that that in these vehicles set up with the flame units that the mahcine gunner and his location was replaced by this flame unit setup. I’m assuming there were a couple of tanks put in this place, and some sort of mechanical device(s) that operated this piece of equipment, but so far I’ve not been able to find any pictures of this. I’m hoping the new book being published by Air Connection “The Mythical T-34” will shed some light here, but who knows when this is coming out. So anyway I was just wondering if anybody out there could maybe point the way to some kind of reference on how this flame thrower unit look installed inside the T-34.
