Does anyone have any suggestions how to repair paint leaks that have seeped under the masking tape on a canopy?
I have tried both 3M Painters tape and Tamiya masking tape with no great successes.

Bigjimslade,I would buy some micro tape, this stuff you paint on then take off after painting works great. As for the paint removiall use a tooth pick and rub slowly this works good and dose not sratch up the clear.Digger
it is crucial when spraying on the paint to apply thin coats that dry almost instanly
to prevent seapage.Paint the canopy area slowly with thin lines ,as if were doing camo.
if the canopies have been futured u could use future to remove the paint stains.
I agree with Digger. Scraping the paint stains gently with a wooden toothpick is the best way I know how to fix the problem. By the way, what’s the type of paint that you used? And did you handbrush it?
for me the best are electrical tapes or drafting tapes cut in thin pieces so paint will not sipped in[8D]
I just want to add that I love your nickname!!!
That is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen and I’m always glad to run into someone else who’s seen it.
Take a small brush and brush some future on the sides of the masking. It seals the tape and prevents the paint from creeping under the masking.
Hope this helps.

I use plastic polish with a tooth pick, glue a small piece of cotton (tshirt) to the end of a fresh tooth pick to buff. Since I started masking with BMF, no more bleed through!
