Hey guys just curious if any of you know if the verlinden 1/48 fw 190 D engine update would fit the Edward fw 190 D kits… I know its made for the tamiya kit but I brought two Edward kits thinking they would be like their fw 190 A kits with engine included… Curious as I wanted my dioramas to have everything on the fw 190 D’s showing… Thanks
It will probable fit,
Maybe you’ll have to cut, paste or edit some stuff to make it fit,
Dry fitting will help you a lot with this.

Awh cheers, well the engine covers will be off and engine hanging out so just the case of it fitting decently but will give it a go Thanks
I’d be very surprised if you couldn’t find a way to make it fit. I’ve installed dozens of aftermarket resin bits into models that were “designed” for other manufacturer’s kits. If you’re careful, test fit LOTS, and use a little creativity, I don’t think there’s anything that can’t be made to fit.
