Has anyone built this kit and have a problem with the top half body aligning with the bottom body piece? Its been a dream and looks great up until this last assembly. Any remedies to correct?
Built three of models over the years one converted to an F-190. Each one had the same fit issue that you are experiencing. If I recall the side pods don’t line up correctly with the top half so I’d take a look there. Also make sure the bottom nose section is lined up as I recall it’s somewhat off. A few modelers ended up using small magnates to more or less hold everything together.
Sorry that I couldn’t give you fool proof solution. Also if you haven’t already I’d suggest getting some different decals. Unless Tamiya changed the decals the white at least is almost transparent.
Decals are good. Im going to display it with the body off. Disappointing but not the end of the world. Thanks for your response.
