I am a new guy here. I have built mostly aircraft in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. However I haven’t built a model in at least 15 years so I am just getting back into this. I am also starting to carve and finish fishing lures and plugs. Does anyone else here do this sort of thing? I am just kind of interested.
Fermis, having a seagull on the end of your line can kind of bring fishing to a new level.
I have nothing against bait, subfixer, as the matter of fact I like live bait when reef fishing. Fly fishing is my favorite though.
I purchased the new Airfix 1/72 Gloster Gladiator last week, to me it is a good looking kit and for the price is pretty amazing. I hope to start building it soon, before Christmas. We’ll see how it goes together though.
I’ve got something that’s better than any plug or crankbait lures. It’s called the Wacky worm and yes I use rubber worms. I can personally guarantee you WILL catch fish. This past summer, my son (10 yrs old) and I were catching LM Bass, crappies, pickerels all summer long without failure. Never lost one single wacky worm to fish. If you wanna dance with the big fish, PM me and I’ll give you the details. LOL!
