Here are pictures of my first Sherman build. Added some Gauntlett resin bits to the Tamiya M4A3 105mm. Stars are painted using masks. I also added some pictures of the Tamiya British Quad Gun dio. No aftermarket pieces on the QG, however I did add some styrene bits of my own making. Just two blokes discussing where to have dinner in the middle of the desert.
Thanks for looking.

Nice job! I like the weathering
great sherman! the weathering is awesome!
Thanks. I need to reshoot the figures with the Quad Gun. I used Polly S flat which came out more semi than flat. Now I use Dullcoat instead. Much better flat.
The weathering on the Sherman is a combo of washes, dry brushing, and chalks.
Both builds are great. The camo and weathering on the Quad gun tractor is especially good. If I didn’t know it was 1/35th I’d swear I was looking at the real thing.

Hey Ranger,
Didn’t look at both. I’m sort of a Sherman “snob”. Very nice work on the Sherman. Thanks for posting.
Joe
Nice builds on both. I like the figs and the barrel on the Sherman. I like the tires and the windsheild wiper “dust” on the quadgun.
Edit: Is that the 105mm on the Sherman?
Edit again: OK check that, maybe I should read first, doh!!??
[:D]great job on both kits,nice work.[:D]
