First post here, first foray into modeling since the 90s.
First kit–The E-100.
In surfing around looking at optional stuff to put on, like tow cables, jacks, tools, etc, I came across a The Barrel Store product, two barrels that match the ones on my kit, at least theoretically:
Anyone know if these will fit the E 100, which I understand uses the Maus turret? I can’t even find a picture of the barrels anywhere, and am reluctant to get them if I can’t use them.
According to this drawing, the gun has a muzzle-brake and the Maus didn’t. Also in this picture, the turret is a little different. On the Dragon kits, I think both turrets are pretty similar.
Voyager has a upgrade set out for the Dragon E-100 (and Trumpeter, too late you bstrds ) which has all the PE, AA armor plating and a drilled-out photo-etched muzzle break. Combine this with the gun barrels you mention and you should be set!

I just ordered the barrels you are referring to through Sprue Brothers. They look great on the kit. As far as accuracy, a turret was never really completed for for the E-100. Design had it using the Maus turret, a King Tiger type turret, and even a twin 88 armed turret. So you do have a little space to work in here. I am working on the Dragon version right now and have plans to purchase the Trumpeter version eventually.
