Im a B-52 guy but I had to jump in. I recently built a 1/32 Trumpy F-105G after years of 1/72 B-52s (over 3 dozen). Love the kit so much I got the 105D from HC and also got a TU-95 BearH from Trumpy in 1/72. Dont get me wrong, still love the BUFF but these kits were actually fun to do.Wish someone made a 1/32 B-52!! gonna follow this build as Im looking for the same kit. i want the F-100D and the F-15 in 1/32.

Hi guys, those are some pretty kind remarks so I hope I live up to your expectations - thanks indeed.
I should point out that I ‘share’ this hobby with two others - Model engineering (not so prevalent as it used to be) and sailing R/C yachts. Needless to say at times there is conflict between them for time input but I usually deal with this (as far as building time is concerned) by concentrating exclusively on one hobby at a time - that way at least something gets finished from time to time! Right now I’m at the end of an ME session and have just cleaned the workshop and about to have a good long attack at a Trumpeter F-100D.
I have posted quite extensively on model engines on a couple of sites but have not, until registering here, ever done so on plastic modelling. As said before I have very few images but I will over time take some to post.
In the last ten years aircraft built (in order) are Avro Lancaster, Mirage 2000, Su27 Flanker, F-86e Sabre, F-104F Starfighter, Hawker Typhoon, Junkers Ju52 floatplane, F-100C Super Sabre, B-26 Marauder and the Crusader - all in 1/48 save the first (1/72) and last (1/32) and all are still here save for the Lanc and Typhoon. Along with these are seven tanks, all modern. Not much by a lot of standards but as said shared with several other projects over that time. There’s an Apache chopper on the backburner and a near finished Israeli F-15I hibernating. (Must do something about that soon too!)
I see there’s a group build for metal finishes in action so I’ve asked if I can sign up for that if it’s not too late, the F-100 would be an ideal candidate - I think I’m really going to enjoy myself here.

Late reply here, just joined a couple days ago myself. But WOW! That is incredible! Although the F8 was long gone by the time I was running around on a flight deck, after seeing those pics I could nearly smell the jet fuel and hear the sounds and hear the Air Boss saying to ready the alert fighter!
I think the guys at FSM should do a serious recruiting drive for you or at very LEAST, a full spread on your build in an upcoming issue!
