This is the Tamiya 1/48th FW-190F-8 kit. I found a color plate of Yellow 14 in the walk around book that I liked. I also used the Eduard pre-painted PE seatbelts in it.

Nice job on the 190 Wells, I can see you spent somt time on that camo. excellent work. How do the PE belts look?

Looks good nice work.
that looks great… I have one on the shelf myself. Great finish to it… love the blown canopy
Thanks for the kind words Rick, mkhoot, and woodbeck3!
Great looking build there Hwells.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
Bravo on your first 190! It came out nicely. I have the Tamiya A-3 kit on my sheld for future building. After seeing your photos, I think it moved up a few places on the priority list. Thanks for sharing
Nice build Hwells with Yellow 14 ! the 190 was such an impressive bird, such clean lines. Build a long nose D-model next to round out your butcher birds ![8-]
Thanks guys[:I]!
I’ve got the A-3 kit too mucker, the wing roots might be tricky, they gave me problems on mine.
Sparky, already picked up two JV-44 D-9s[:D]
Great job on a great plane.
A very nice build and an exception paint job. Outstanding.
Darren.
Great looking Wulf.

Hey Henry!,
Very nice paint work. I couldn’t help but notice the rather large wing to fuselage gap on your overhead shot though. Please, don’t be offended, your model is a real work of art and I’m not trying to dig you. I would offer a hint to eliminate the problem in the future. The obvious would be to fill and sand and rescribe. But, I have had success with using Tenax to attach the upper wings to the fuselage first, then attaching the lowers , this really is an effective technique to eliminate the dreaded wing root gap. Maybe you could use this technique in the future to improve upon your builds.
You are definitely a talented individual, and I admire and respect your FW-

Steve
Very nice job… really like the camo.
great job on the camo, I like this scheme. the FW 190 has always been one of my all time favorite planes.
Aw jeez guys, this is great! Thankyou so very much.
Hiya Crockett. No offence taken at all, any pointers are welcomed. I have had problems with wing roots with previous builds. That suggestion makes a lot of sense. Now I did see on the P40 GB(which by the way, does anyone know if there is cut-off date to get in on it?) that someone glued the bottom wing to the fuselage then attatched the top wings. Iguess either way would work with good results. I use Ambroid Pro-weld mostly, and ZAP for small stuff.
A lot of the problems with the 190 are mostly things like the wing root. I missed a big gap on the port wing around the cannon. I didn’t find it until I was taking some practice pics with my camera. It was one of those ‘DOH!!’ moments.
