I’ve built about every model there is to date except a 1/144th plane.Would like to get a boeing or airbus. My question is what brand should I get?
The vast majority of 1/144 airliners are Revell of Germany or Minicraft. Skyline Daco makes a really great 737 Classic series (-300, -400, and -500). Some aircraft types are only made by Revell or Minicraft, so it kinda depends on which airliner you want to make.
Zevzda makes two really nice airline kits: a Boeing 767 and a 787. Basically you’ll have to decide which aircraft you want to do before making a brand selection, cause you might only have one choice.
While I have bought the Zvezda 787 I have not built it yet, so cannot really make a recommendation on that brand yet. I have built a couple of Revell-germany kits and they are top-notch.
All three mentioned above are very good. I lean towards Minicraft. They have a vast range of subjects, like United DC-4 in Mainliner livery.

If they don’t have it…
Thanks for the help guys.Guess I’ll just look around and find one I want.I just didn’t know if there was a certain comapny to shy away from on a first build.
