First armor build - 1/35 Tamiya M-60A1 w/ERA

Had the chance to complete my first armor build for a Shelf Queen challenge. Thought I would share over here since some of the tips to complete I picked from the FSM magazine. The entire gallery to include the WIP pictures can be seen here: http://s1272.photobucket.com/user/marc_d_tyler/slideshow/M-60A1

Enjoy…

Looks awesome.I have this kit in the stash.I’ll get to it some day.I hope it turns out this nice.

Looks good! The Tamiya M60 kits are nice, in spite of their age and issues.

Yours came out great. Good job on the weathering and finish.

They are O.K. I still prefer the Esci M60s over them.

Oh yes, the ESCI M60s are much nicer.

Very nice job.

The only problem I really see Stik is that the Tamiya M60 series of tanks suffers from the same problem as their M48 tanks they didn’t mold the suspension arms to represent a loaded tank. Fix the suspension like Doog did on his M48 build then add AM tracks and it would look even better.
