Finnish T-26 A

I picked this kit up a while back when the Hobby store had it for 17$ (later reduced to 10), It’s from a very old kit from what I think is a Russian company. Tarp is scratchbuilt

I’ve painted it up in a Finnish scheme as loot from the winter war, let me know what you think of it, thanks.

It’s always neat to see these early war “tin can” type vehicles get done up. It amazes me that they were considered viable fighting vehicles given their limitations but then the inter-war period was one of cash-strapped budgets and infancy-design stages so a lot of unusual things came out of that combination. Nice work for a $10 kit.

Another ode to the vickers 7 tonner. Great work on the T-26. It’s virtually identical to the Polish 7TP which also had the twin machine gun turrets as well.

Yeah, I picked up the kit because it was both an unusual kit and cheap, (it was actually originally 17$, but they reduced it at the counter, I love my LHS). It was a fun, if unusual build.

Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I can do some more early war stuff, it’s silly and fun.

Also, yeah, the T26, Vickers 7 ton and the 7tP are pretty much the same tank.
