I haven’t posted on FSM’s Forum in over ten years, but it’s nice to be back!
Here’a my latest: Tamiya 1/48th Mitsubishi A6M3 Model 22 of the 582nd Naval Air Group, Buin, Bouganville, flown by Major Saburo Shindo in June of 1943. The kit is box stock except for Eduard Photoetch seat belts and Modelkasten filament for the antenna wire. Paint is Mr. Color and decals are from the kit.
Excellent looking meatballs you got there friend! Spot-on weathering…I like it. Thanks for sharing.
You sound like me Frank, I just returned to the forum after nearly ten years. I haven’t set up my bench to build yet, but I have cleared a spot and gathered the necessities. Looking at your fantastic work inspires me to get crackin’. Hopefully, soon…real soon.
Wow, you sure know how to make a hell of a re-entrance! That’s some beautiful work, I wish mine looked half as good. I sure hope you’ll be posting more.
Gorgeous workmanship. That finish is to die for. I am also hoping you stick around and don’t wait another ten years before showing us another build. This is beautiful attention to detail.
Awesome work. I love the weathering of your plane. I could see bit of red overspray on decals on the wing but that’s just minor. Looking forward to see more of your builds.
