What a great aircraft, we had one in the U.K. flying untill it sadly crahed a number of years ago, I used to like seeing it in the skies.

While you were nice enough to “invite the critics”… there is nothing to criticize. A great job on a great aircraft. Nice subtle weathering… very nice. The exhaust pipes turned out really well. What did you paint them with?
Pics look good too… just need a bit more depth of field… use a higher f-stopif your camera has that capability.
There was a mosquito undergoing a resoration at the Thunder Over Michigan show. Had most of the fusilage completed and some misc parts. Had some of the original parts from a ship that crashed long ago. They estimated that it will take another decade at least before she is finished.
Wow, Thanks guys. I still have some figuring to do with the new camera, and I don’t have a good lighting set up either. I’ll get things going eventually.
The kit was fairly straight forward, I had to leave out the rear bomb bay bulkhead to have the bay doors fit closed. The fusalage fit was improved by that too.
The exhausts were painted with Alclad burnt metal, rust pastells on the base, and airbrushed the black on the ends. Notice the missing door? I painted it while on the sprue, but wasn’t paying attn, got it upside down.[:I] Can’t build one without doing that somewhere during a build[;)] I thought I overdid the weathering a bit, but is looks more subtle in the pics for some reason.

Drew, somehow this build got under my radar! Nicely done. I assumed the missing door was opened and the prop was blocking it from sight. I have the same kit, but need to paint and finish it. Cracked the canopy when I was masking it and bought a vacuform replacement, which I haven’t got around to replacing.
