This is the 1/72 scale Heller kit of the Mirage 2000n. I built this as a stress reliever while working on my P-51d for the NMF Group Build. It was a fairly simple kit. The cockpit detail was almost non-existant except for a black and white decal for the front instrument panel.
I detailed the cockpit by painting buttons and such, and crafted seat belts from masking tape. The canopy can only be in the closed position. I completed the kit in one weekend: started Friday afternoon after work and the final flat coat was sprayed Sunday morning.
Nice A/C! I still have to learn how to pull “weekend” edition. I take the decals are origs from the kit. Do you build more frenchies? Always liked them.

I used the decals from the kit yes, they went down great. the only problem I has was with the large wing-walk decals. But after slicing them into more manageale lengths, I no longer had any trouble.
I do not have a lot of French A/C in my stash, I have mostly American planes. But I do like to see the color schemes of different nations. They serve as a nice contrast to the USA’s palette of grey, grey and grey!
Sorry for such a late response, two months - looks like I had some time lapse here :). Nevertheless, I am about to finish heller version of Gloster Javelin and french Jaguar (1/48 heller’s repack of Airfix) from Operation Daguet is next. I’ll try (fail probably :)) to make it look as good as your Mirage. Hopefully I’ll deal with Carpena decals well enough this time.
