Hi folks,
Here are some pictures of my Academy 1:48 MiG-29A. I used the Aires cockpit set, and at the last minute decided to go with Eagle Strike Ivan’s Eagles decal set, mostly for the flashy shark mouth.

how was the kit?
Thanks for the nice comments, guys. To answer those that wanted to know about the kit, it actually wasn’t as bad as some reviews led me to believe. True, there were a couple of fit problems, mostly between the top and bottom halves of the forward fuselage, but nothing that couldn’t be helped with a little putty, a couple of sanding sticks and a lot of patience. Actually, now that I think about it, probably even that would have been okay if I had used the original cockpit…since I used the Aires resin set, it’s very likely that I caused some of those fit issues myself. So, overall, a decent kit altogether [^]
