Finished hellcat pics

Here’s my F6F-3 hasegawa hellcat all finished. It has an Aires resin engine, jaguar resin cockpit, aeromaster decals, squadron vac-formed canopy and true details wheels. This was my first time using resin aftermarket parts. It was also my first time using future on the canopy.

It is in the markings of LT Alex Vraciu. I hope yoy like the pictures, they aren’t great quality I’m afraid.

thanks for letting me share my build with you.[8D]

Outstanding build Ping!

Looks pretty nice to me Pingtang. The paint looks great, the weathering is nice and subtle, and the paint chipping is well done. Very good build!

Nice pics daniel.

Nice looking Cat ping…

The Pacific theater USN planes have always been my favorite… I have yet to model a Hellcat though- so I may have to give this one a go sometime.

excellent looking bird pingtang!!![tup][tup][tup] nice job on the engine and that delicate canopy!! thanks for the peek. later.

Nice job man,
I Like the weathering and engine detail !
I hope mine turns out as well - I have a 1/72 Italeri kit on deck.

Nice looking Hellcat Ping!

Great job. Well done paint scheme.

Looks great, pingtang ! Those Jaguar cockpits are NICE (when you can find them), aren’t they? Wasn’t Vraciu the pilot who downed 6 Japanese AC in 8 minutes during the “Great Marianas Turkey Shoot”?
Well done !

Excellent looking Hellcat, Daniel.

Your weathering is well done!
