Finished Canadian Starfighter

Well, finally got to taking some photo’s.

It’s the Hasagawa kit (48th, like there’s another scale[;)]) with Belcher and Leading edge decals. I went all out with a Black box pit, Eduard etch and Aries burner can. The paint is Humbrol. Seem too brownish in the pics for some reason. Must be my photo taking as it is really green to see it. I should get a better set up, but you know.

Anyway… comments and criticism is always invited

Thanks all;

Drew

Looks good Drew, nice job.

Very Nice work Drew. I was in the RCAF when they flew the Starfighter.

Looks like a keeper, Bill.

Nice work Drew. The light coming in the blinds looks like some sort of secret death ray coming out of the tip tank.[;)]

I don’t gravitate to very many jets, but the Starfighter is one of my faves. Looks like museum quality to me!

Great job Drew! I,m still trying to work out the bugs in my Pic skills also. Keep up the excellent work.[8D]

Drew,

A great job on a great aircraft! Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice Drew.

Thanks guys for those boosts to my ego. [:)] I actually finished it with an hour to go before the contest started last weekend.[:I]

Drew , she looks green to me , nice paint job . Looks like you contrasted the panels with different shades .I like the low vis look . How was the contest ?

Thanks Shell.

The contest was good. Some 500 entries and some show stoppers. The starfighter squeeked in third for it’s catagory

I’ve never seen that scheme for a Canadian Starfighter - looks really cool!

the old Olive Drab scheme makes for quite a striking looking, like Kolja mentions above.

Drew,

It’s nice to see some Canadian livery. How come you didn’t bother to tell us you placed third? Hmmm??

Nice build Drew. Well done.

Regards, Rick
