Finished - Afrika Korps 'What-If' Me-262

Thanks again everyone [:D]
The underside is RLM 65 Hellblau. The camo was made with RLM 02 Grau as the light gray base coat and RLM 70 Schwarzgrun for the dark gray.
For a short time I had thought about using Sandgelb instead of the RLM 02 since a lot of Africa aircraft used that color. That with the dark gray stripes would look really cool to but I decided to stay with the two shades of gray. Some day I may do another Me with the Sandgelf and dark gray tiger stripes. Those two 262’s sitting beside each other would look pretty interesting.
Good modeling,
Wayne

looks really cool from my house Wayne!![tup]

Nice job…I sometimes change numbers, nose art etc. to make a one of a kind. I have some what-if’s. Why have the same old aircraft everyone else is building?

Dittos - nice job!!!

Since everyone is gushing about this, I thought I’d be different and say something more critical … but I can’t. It really is that cool!

That’s a very nice build, Wayne. Is it just me, or does it look like it’s smiling at me in the last pic?[8)]

Damm fine job man, good use of the ol’ imagination.

The plane looks awesome, and the camo looks equally awesome.Great work.

Looks very well done Wayne. I really like your custom decal, it adds a lot to your “what if” build.
Great work.

Well done-now do one that would have been based in the USA.

PS-What software do you use for the homemade decals-and is it Mac compatable?

Dan
