I know,I know!Too much rust on the tracks. You won’t see this again from me.I hope.

OK then, you got that.

You need to color those silver tools more on the order of what you have the fuel cans. Put some effort into eliminating seam lines. I know they’re a pain but someone’s got to do it.

Don’t think I’m trying to pick you apart. I’m just trying to help 'ya out.

No problem.

Seamlines…check.

Tools…I seem to be hit or miss with these.Tools are a lot trickier than one would expect.

This pic doesn’t really show it as well, but these tracks are mega rusty.Don’t know what I was thinking.

When you build the perfect model. Let me know. Because it is pretty impossible. LOL.

Some friends of mine told me something this year that makes alot of sense.

“Finished is better then perfect.” In the past 20 years of modeling I complete 5 models maybe total, because I was always trying to get it perfect.

Once, I started living by the phrase above. I finished 5 models this year alone!

So don’t sweat it, keep trying and you’ll get better.

Now off my soapbox.

Try a blackish wash on the tools and tracks to tone things down. And I agree try fill the seams a little more, or at least cover them with equipment.

Hope this is helpful.

Hey, TD, I really like the Super Sherman. You did alot of good work. You are well on your way.

BTW,this kit was a blast to build and paint. It comes with quite a bit of stowage, which is nice for a change.Lots of detail.I’m not sure why the Israeli’s did it,but I really enjoyed painting all those areas red.Very different from a typical tank build.

Great kit you have there, I like the fact that all thee stowage was included. I’ve always wondered why Academy does that but Dragon doesn’t. They already pack enough garbage in their boxes to do a second kit, why not include a sprue from their figure sets?

Other than the minor areas already mentioned, you have a great and interesting model to display on the shelf! I don’t think the tracks are so far gone that a dark wash or two and a dusting of pastels or Mig Pigments wouldn’t tone the rust down. (though I’d leave them as they are)
