Finished 1/32 Revell F15-E

Well I finished it at last , fully loaded all OOB ,
and my 1st plane i’ve painted with a airbrush
the writing on the bombs I did with a white pencil
overall a poor fitting kit , but after all the moaning about it
i will do another [:D]

Nice job!

Beautiful work on the Strike Eagle. The writing on the bombs is nice touch.

Looks good from here Sean. Thanks for sharing this build. Came out very nice.

Regards, Rick

Cheers guys [:D]

Nice clean build. Did you cull those “chalk” marks on the bombs from any pics, or make them up yourself? [;)]

Just made them up myself , just a bit of fun [:D]

Sean, I have to say that watching this build come along I wasnt too impressed especially after seeing the master peices you produced in the past. The inprogress pics you showed of this build to me made the model look fake, kinda like a toy. That said however after putting the finishing touches on and making this plane ready to some serious air to ground damage, once again you have delivered another master peice. I am kinda suprised you decided to go with Seymore Johnson markings and not RAF Lakenheath though. Ive always tried to build models significant to my past though and I suppose it would be wrong to assume that other modelers do the same or to assume that being from the UK you’d even be intrested in RAF Lakenheaths birds… But once again Beautiful build

Good Job ,Sean. And armed to the teeth too…

Cheers Awood and Obiwan
I was going to put on a set of the Lakenheath decals
but as I’M lazy and didn’t fancy another drive up to Hannants ,
I stuck with the box ones
I’m glad it came out as good as it did , the idea with the marker pen for detailing was a stupid one ,
but had to give it a try ,
the plane came alive when I did two firsts
1 using Acrylics (Xtracrylics)
2 Using an airbrush
if it was the tamiya kit i would of used a load of P/E And Resin on her ,
but as I only paid £21 for her I thought i’d do it OOTB ,

Looks great Sean! Very well done indeed, love what you did with the bombs too!

Regards,

Darren.
