Did the LHS circuit here in rainy Osaka today, and noticed that the new Fine Molds Slave 1 was on the shelves. This is probably old news for most of you, but I thought I’d post it anyway.
What a big box! Huge. It was going for 6,426 yen (about $58 USD), which means I left it right on the shelf, not being much of a Slave 1 fan.
But for you Slave 1 fans out there, I reckon this is good news!
It must be available for order and shipping by now (if it hasn’t already been).
Haven’t seen it in any of the stores here (but little sci-fi actually shows up here). CultTVman has it advertised in his hobby shop section for $99.95 + postage. That is a little (ok, a lot) out of my price range. Now if it was a 72nd Falcon around that price…
It’s on the shelves in New Jersey too.

The kinda sad news is that there was nothing new at the Fine Molds booth at the Shizuoka Hobby Show this past weekend. Just the TIE Interceptor, which is old news.
Where’s the Falcon? The Star Destroyer? Ah, well…
