Hey all,
Hopefully in some way somebody here can point me in the right direction. One of my dads best friends was killed while on a training flight before going over to Vietnam. The year exactly is not really known. Mid to late 60s.
He was flying a OV-1(U.S.A) by himself as reports go(Not sure though). He was flying along the Ohio River when he hit a High tension wire that was going across the river.
Anywho is a/c went down and they never found him nor the wreckage until 5 weeks later down river.
All that I know is that his name was Capt. Michael Moran. In any way can I find out what Sqdrn he was with while flying the Mohawk. Sites, Govt sites on Military personal ect ect.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
