Hehe. The Italian navy achieved about as much as their army! The only thing they achieved were their pig-subs damaging the Q.E. and Valiant. LOL
Do not discount the Italian Decima Flottiglia MAS, the elite frogmen of that navy. They sank the HMS York, some destroyers and several merchant ships and transports. A small force, yes, but fairly effective and highly respected.
Yes, of course, but you see where I’m going. Their powerful naval fleet did zip. I do recall a few submarine successes as well.
