Finally the Marder III is done

Wow!

It is really nice to see something other than MBT’s and the detail is absolutely awesome. It is always easy to do tanks with mud, etc., but the detailing in scratches, the highlights and weathering make for a very realistic model!

Great job!

I forgot to ask, did you use any aftermarket parts? Especially the tracks or are these out of the box?

Dmodeler I used a Jodi Rubio barrel, everything else is box stock.

Erock [:D] I haven’t heard “shwing” in a while!! [:D] [:D] Made my day, lol [:D] [:p]

Eric

erush hi!
absolutely wicked!!!

A great build-up of an interesting subject. This is far and away my favorite Marder.

OUTSTANDING!!! Very good painting and weathering. You have built a super winning model. Three cheers…

erush:
it looks great ! i just love the well-worn look of this beastie …
one killer ‘weasel’ for slinking around the back streets, for sure.
u did a fantastic job on this one !

I’m gobsmacked! The paint (or rather, lack thereof) is absolutly brilliant!

I… I think I’m in love!

Its an interesting looking vehicle… It kinda reminds me of the tank in the ol Wacky races cartoons… ALthough I’m thinking the Russians on the front might not have seen the funny side of things.

Very Nice Job Erush!

Your pictures will look better if you add a solid background behind your model. The bright colors behind the model distract from your beautiful marder  Even just holding a piece of cardboard in place would make a big difference and help you out.

Thanks for sharing,

Great looking build there Eric. The weathering is probally the best that I have seen since getting into this again. Can almost hear the engine cooling down from being rode that hard.

Awesome Marder!!! Now one question, are you gonna add some figures to go along with that excellent Marder? Cause that would kick butt!!

It’s people like you that make modelers like me keep trying to improve. That is amazing!!! Kepp up the great work!

Thanks for all the kind words and comments guys and gal!! [;)] I really do appreciate it and I’m glad y’all like it. I hope I can do as good a job on a couple figures and the base but It’ll probably be a while on them as I need to get started on the 1/16 Tiger I now.

Eric

Eric,
I just had to pull this back up to the top to BEG you to send pics of this “beautie” to FSM’s Gallery. I’d love to see it there, and the rest of the modeling community deserves to see the great work you’ve done!

Please;

Bill

Thanks Bill!! [:D] [:I] I’m going to try to get some better pics of it. I need some poster board and some lights so I can do it right. If I can get some pics to turn out good I think I will submit them. I’ll share with y’all first and see what y’all think.

Thanks again to everyone!!!

Sorry Eric, I just had to wipe the big blobs of drool of my keyboard[:D]

So this is your first completed armour kit.[:0] They say you get better the more you do; if so, the future ones are gonna be absolute blinders[:)]

Happy Modelling
Peter

Looks great !

It would be nice to see that beauty in the mag, Eric! Send that rascal in!

Outstanding job

Superb work, Eric. More like that please!
