I was finally, after several years of casually looking, able to get my fingers on one of my favorites…
New and sealed Glencoe kit # 06101 in 1/81 scale of a Curtiss-wright Condor. This kit builds a great model of this early airliner, and has quality decals to build your choice of American Airways Airliner NC12354, Admiral Byrd’s “William Horlick”, and an Argentine Navy version. There are also enough alternate parts to build either wheeled or amphibious versions!
Anyone ever had experience with this kit? I’m looking forward to getting in to that one! [;)]
