Finally finished: my Glencoe 1/72 Martin MB-2!

I don’t know how you people deal with that rigging stuff, I have enough of a problem doing 1 radio wire.

I hear ya on that![%-)]

Maybe it’s a counter-rotating Liberty. [:D] [:O]

I’ll get it right next time. [;)]

Seriously, the rigging was actually pretty cool to work on. A good light, needlenosed tweezers, and some zip kicker really helped.

Regards,

Nice work Drew! It looks great, glad to see this one completed

That’s a real beauty, Drew !

VERY clean work, and nice attention to detail. Adding all that rigging in 1/72 is a commendable accomplishment.

WELL DONE !

So what size was that magnifier ya used?!?![;)] Man, still gotta be a pain to see when wworking on it

can’t add anything that everybody’s righteously already stated, other than I am very impressed with your tenancity on the kit and how good it looks.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. [:)]

Regards,

So what’s next on the work bench Drew??[;)]

I’m working on a 1/64 scale wooden ship, the Brigantine Lexington. It’ll be a very long term project, being my first wooden ship, and with more than half of it needing to be scratchbuilt. So, I’ll probably build a few airplane kits when I need a break from the ship. [:D]

Regards,

Hey I know I have been gone for a long time but was just cruising the forums and I saw you finaly finished your build, I have to say I am quite impressed and very haappy you finished it.

Sounds like a winner Drew[tup] a challenge to say the least[;)] It will test your abilities & your sanity but, razor saw & Gorilla glue will prevail[:-,][(-D] I presume we can expect an inprogress report on this?[;)]

SPLENDID!!!

Thanks, guys!

I’ll certainly post some updates and even some photos of the ship build in the ships forum.
