Your weathering job really made it pop! Excellent Falcon.[8D]
Love ya too mate. The picture makes it look whiter and redder than it really is.
4 posts!.. Breaking new ground as we speak!

Hey, everyone’s gotta start somewhere… [;)]
[:D] I thought you did a cutaway?.. I cant remember now… But when I did the top of mine, I had a major bodge job underneath the get it to hold together… And I thought to myself… Why didnt I ask Rich what he did?.. But as it turns out. you did the 89 one…

Which Falcon did you build? and where did you get the base, or did you make it?
Chris, you actually bothered to read some of my descriptions, somewhere!
Stipp, the base is a metal job from a remote control robot that walks on it. It has magnetic feet. I like it for taking pictures.
Beautiful work on the Falcon. Looks great.
Regards, Rick
Sorry mate… I can only read in brail?..

I’ve always loved that ship. “She may not look like much but she’s got it where it counts” Great job.[bow]
Fantastic Falcon! Looks good enough to be used by Hollywood special effects![8D]

So here’s a question for all you Falcom modelers out there. The exhaust staining aft of the three vents at the back… Due to the simple principles of the laws of mothin, wouldn’t those stains run parallel to each other, instead of a radial pattern? I know it’s a small point, but from one who is around planes quite a bit and sees staining of all sorts, this doesn’t follow any flow patterns I’ve ever seen.
just idle curiosity…
Bad aerodynamics?
The thing’s a flying hamburger (don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the ship) so aerodynamics can’t be all that great on the Falcon as F91-s stated. Also, I believe the studio model is weathered that way as well. If I’m wrong, anyone should feel free to correct me as I don’t have any pics of the studio model on hand, nor am I feeling motivated enough to pop in my Star Wars DVDs (gotta run back out to Hobby Lobby and also pick up a soundcard for my PC at CompUSA).
Outstanding Job on the Falcon, And just so everyone is clear his weathering is up to movie standards…
You may notice a very close resemblance in the weathering, so AGAIN I say OUTSTANDING job.[;)]
STUNNING Falcon
Well done !
Great flacon, love the weathering like everyone else. Never did buy that model, but after seeing yours kinda makes me wish I had.
