Finally!! a A/B-26K Counter Invader kit.

I noticed that Italeri has a 1/72nd scale kit coming out of the A-26K Counter Invader. I have wanted a kit of this for many years know. Seems a shame that there are so few kits of the Invader as it served in three major US wars and numerous small conflicts around the world. I wonder if they will come out with some of the other versions as well.

Yeah! I saw that listing too. It’s boxed as a B-26K, but I bet you can “back-date” it to a WW2 or Korea A-26pretty easily! It won’t be released in the US until late 05 or early 06[:(]. We’ll just have to be patient. I just hope Italeri did a good job on the tooling, and it isn’t just a “re-issue” of the ancient Airfix dinosaur. Frank

I bought the Albatross decal sheet for “Foreign Invaders” at least 2 yrs ago, hoping that someone would come out with a B26K. FINALLY!!
I’m thinking maybe the CIA A/C that flew for the Congolese Govt.
I also heard it may not come out till late 05, early 06. I’ve waited this long, whats a few more month!
